Niyia Whitsett, Founder is known to be a creative visionary and writer who elevated her journey into healthy living around 2008. She become more disciplined in 2015 when she began taking classes and learning more about holistic health. Niyia has a special gift for inspiring people and with Gods guidance she helps them take control of their feelings and healing. She also manages many brands and is sought after to make a big difference in the world as this Spa is set up to be an educational resource for wellness.

Niyia creates events with substance where women can come together, support each other, and learn new skills. She also helps shine a light on different upcoming women with her platform to spread headlines of positivity which is highly encouraging and offers them connection for community building and more.

Nicole Vanyo Operations Manager, brings her own special touch to Self-Approved. She’s a kind mom who loves animals and believes in living a happy, healthy life. Her cooking is amazing, and her family loves the meals she makes and she is a natural hard worker-bee. After seeing how Niyia had changed her life with holistic schooling, Nicole decided to do the same to become healthier, too. She even tried ginger shots that Niyia suggested and after disliking them made her own delicious version that everyone now loves!!

Nicole is a skilled aromatherapist, helping others with what she’s learned. Niyia's idea for a holistic wellness space came to life, and just six months later, Nicole joined her to help manage the first of many. Together, they believe in the power of emotional healing and are on a fun adventure to help everyone live healthier and happier lives!
